SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University sophomore guard Ruth Williamson has been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Honor Roll for the two-week period ending December 31, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Williamson (Gettysburg, PA/DuBois Central Catholic) came off the bench to average 17.5 points and 4.5 rebounds and shoot 52 percent from the field as the Crusaders dropped a pair of games at the Salem State Christmas Tournament last week.

She tied her career high with 17 points on 8-of-16 shooting in a 69-57 loss to York in the opening round on Thursday, then set a new career high with 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including 3-for-4 from three-point range, in a 70-67 loss to Curry in the consolation game on Friday.

For the season, Williamson is averaging 7.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 10 games and has made a team-high nine three-pointers for the Crusaders (6-4), who return to action on Friday against Misericordia in the opening round of the Lycoming Classic.
