Robinson Named to Commonwealth Conference Honor Roll
SELINSGROVE, PA –Susquehanna University junior guard Josh Robinson has been named to the Commonwealth Conference Honor Roll in men’s basketball, the conference office announced Monday.
Robinson (Mahwah, NJ/River Dell), a two-time conference Player of the Week this season, returned to the lineup after missing five games with an injury, and averaged 20.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists to lead the Crusaders to a pair of key Commonwealth Conference victories.
He scored a game-high 21 points and added seven assists and five rebounds in a 90-77 win at Albright on Wednesday, then poured home a game-high 20 points and dished out six assists in a 74-61 victory over second-place Widener on Saturday.
For the season, Robinson leads the Crusaders (13-6 overall, 5-3 Commonwealth) in scoring at 23.0 points per game to go with 5.6 rebounds per contest, and leads the squad in field-goal percentage (100-for-187, 53.5 percent) and three-pointers (37).
