SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna University men's tennis team will play its season finale when it host Wilkes Wednesday in a 3:30 p.m. non-conference match which was originally scheduled for Thursday, April 20.
Meanwhile, the Crusader softball team had its season end prematurely as it canceled its scheduled doubleheader Wednesday at Western Maryland in favor of making up its rained out home twinbill from Tuesday, April 18, with Wilkes. But since Wilkes has made the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship Tournament as the number-two seed from the Freedom Conference, the Colonels canceled Wednesday's make-up at Susquehanna – meaning the Crusaders end their season at 14-13 overall, 7-7 in the MAC Commonwealth Conference.
The Susquehanna softball program finishes with a winning record for the fifth-straight season under sixth-year coach Vince Anselmo.
The Crusader women's and men's lacrosse teams will also conclude their seasons hosting a doubleheader Saturday vs. Philadelphia University and the University of Scranton at 12 and 2 p.m. respectively. The women's game was originally scheduled on that day for 1 p.m., while the men's contest was switched to that date from Friday, April 21. Both games will be played at Susquehanna's West Soccer/Lacrosse Field.
