Harrington Selected To MAC Women's Hoops Honor Roll

Averages 15 Points in Two Wins, Scores Season-High 23 Against Allentown

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Susquehanna University junior forward Amy Harrington has been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Honor Roll after averaging 15.0 points in a pair of Crusader victories during the week ending December 10.

Harrington (Danville, Pa./Danville H.S.) scored a season-high 23 points to help Susquehanna improve to 6-1 overall with a 67-65 victory over Allentown College at Houts Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. She connected on 8-of-15 shots from the field, including a pair of three-pointers, and sank a critical free throw in the final seconds to lift the Crusaders to their third straight victory.

Harrington is sixth in the Commonwealth Conference in three-pointers per game at 1.71 per contest (12 in seven games) and is tenth in three-point percentage at 35.3 percent (12-for-34).

The Crusaders will return to action on Friday, December 29 at the Lutheran Brotherhood Tournament, hosted by California Lutheran University.
