Crusaders fall to Cardinals in Landmark semis Box Score

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The fourth-seeded Susquehanna University women's lacrosse team fell to top-seeded Catholic University Wednesday, 17-6, in the Landmark Conference semifinals.

Katelyn Deese (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) led the way for the Crusaders with three goals. Seniors contributed the rest of the scoring in their finale, as Rachel Devilbiss (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key), Heather Linton (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) and Dana Mulvihill (Madison, N.J./Morristown-Beard School) each added a goal and Erin McGarrigle (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) two assists.

Cindy Wilson (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) gobbled up six ground balls to pace the team, and was also tops in draw controls with three. Deese added three ground balls and two draw controls.

Senior keeper Jess Weiss (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./William Tennent) had five ground balls while making 14 saves in her final performance in net for the orange and maroon.
