Montgomery, Davitt and Tompeck Selected to All–Landmark Conference Team
MADISON, N.J. — Susquehanna University's junior forward Abby Montgomery (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville), senior defender Kelly Davitt (Hampton, N.J./North Hunterdon) and senior goalkeeper Meredith Tompeck (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) were selected to the 2008 all–Landmark Conference women's soccer team on Nov. 11.
Montgomery, Davitt and Tompeck each landed on the all–Landmark second team.
Montgomery (left) led Susquehanna with nine goals, including a team-leading three game-winners, and 19 points this season while appearing in all 18 games. She was an all–conference second-teamer in 2007 as well and a Susquehanna Super Crusader this year from Sept. 8–14.
Davitt (center), a tri-captain, started all 18 games this year and led a defense that posted five shutouts. She was on the all–conference first team in 2007.
Tompeck (right), another tri-captain, played 16 games in goal this year with 15 starts. She posted a double-digit saves total in six games and was part of four shutouts. She was a Super Crusader from Oct. 20–26 and an SU Women's Soccer Classic all–tournament team member.
