Susquehanna Tops Messiah, 108–79, Falls to Elizabethtown, 117–70 Results
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — Sophomore Christie Savard (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) won one individual event and was part or all of two second-place finishes to help Susquehanna University (2–4) split two decisions, a 108–79 win over Messiah College (0–5) and a 117–70 decision to host Elizabethtown College (3–3) in a tri-meet at Alumni Pool on Nov. 15.

Savard (pictured) won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1 minute, 5.5 seconds and placed second in the 200 freestyle in 2:08.44. She teamed with sophomore Lindsey Jankiewicz (Easton, Pa./Freedom) and juniors Catherine Harris (Miller Place, N.Y./Miller Place) and Cristina Los (Succasunna, N.J./Roxbury) on the runner-up 200 medley relay team. Times for that event were reported inaccurately, though places are correct.
Jankiewicz also captured first place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:04.47, and junior Catherine Harris (Miller Place, N.Y./Miller Place) placed second in both the 50 free and 100 fly in 27.34 seconds and 1:07.28 seconds, respectively.
Sophomore Lauren Snyder (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) touched the wall second in two events, swimming the 500 and 1,000 free in 5:42.50 and 11:58.13, respectively. Junior Hayley Keenan (Pikesville, Md./Liberty) finished second in the 100 back with a 1:05.85 time.
