Susquehanna Cheerleading

2008-09 program overview

Susquehanna University has a long-standing tradition of outstanding cheerleading programs. The team, open to men and women, focuses on crowd-leading by using traditional cheers and chants enhanced by elite stunting, jumps, tumbling and dance.

The squad cheers for all home and select away football games and all home men's and women's basketball games while also providing support to all of the University's other athletics teams. The squad also participates in several homecoming events, particularly the annual parade.

The Susquehanna cheerleading program enjoys the support of the athletics department. Uniforms, warmups and other equipment are provided by the University, and cheerleaders who successfully complete each season are awarded a varsity letter.
