Savard Shines, but Susquehanna Falls at Catholic, 151–111 Results
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Susquehanna University's sophomore Christie Savard (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) registered four top-two finishes, but visiting Susquehanna (2–5) fell to The Catholic University of America, 151–111, at the Raymond A. DuFour Center swimming pool on Nov. 22.

Savard (pictured) won the 200-yard backstroke and butterfly with times of 2 minutes, 14.93 seconds and 2:26.01, respectively. Her backstroke time broke a nine-year-old school record. She placed second in the 200 freestyle in 2:05.06 and swam a leg on the second-place 400 free relay team alongside sophomore Lauren Snyder (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley), freshman Brianna Drapeau (Livingston, N.J./Livingston) and junior Cristina Los (Succasunna, N.J./Roxbury). That relay posted a time of 4:11.24.
Snyder also captured two first-place finishes, swimming the 500 and 1,000 frees in 5:40.64 and 11:34.28, respectively.
Sophomore Lindsey Jankiewicz (Easton, Pa./Freedom) touched the wall first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.70 and second in the 200 back in 2:22.45.
Junior Catherine Harris (Miller Place, N.Y./Miller Place) won the 100 fly with a 1:06.23 time and teamed with junior Hayley Keenan (Pikesville, Md./Liberty), senior Amy Thiele (New Providence, N.J./New Providence) and sophomore Melissa Weeks (Framingham, Mass./Framingham) to place second in the 200 medley relay with a mark of 2:04.21.
