Dustin L. Klinger

Dustin Klinger is the president of Sterling Communications. It is his task to make sure that everything is running smoothly with Sterling Communications. He oversees the Exec. Board and works with the Sales and Marketing Director to ensure that the account managers are doing the best job that they can for their client. Klinger is a senior public relations major with a business minor. He enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Felecia Roush, playing sports and running. Klinger has interned at Evangelical Community Hospital in the Public Relations and Development/Event Planning Departments. After graduation, Klinger plans on obtaining a job in Healthcare PR. It is his career goal to one day become a PR Manager.

Sumerly Buccino
 Sumer, Vice President of sterling, is a Creative Writing major with a Public Relations minor. She is the Editor of Serenity, SU Woman's Mag. Sumer also works as an intern for FUSE, Forum for Undergratuate Student Editors. Her hobbies include writing, reading, listening to music, and skateboarding. After graduation, she plans to attend Graduate School for Creative Writing or Editing and Publishing

Elizabeth G. Jackson

Liz is a junior at SU, she currently resides in Boston, MA.
She is also involved in Sigma Kappa sorority. Her position in Sterling involves taking the minutes at every meeting and distributing the minutes among all Sterling members via e-mail. She also informs Sterling members of upcoming practicum opportunities that are available.

Jason Morrison

Jason Morrison is a senior public relations major. He currently resides in Trevorton, Pa. Jason is the practicum coordinator for Sterling Communications. It is his duty to record and keep track of all the hours for each Sterling member.

Brittany K. Wood

Brittany Wood is one of the sales and marketing directors for Sterling. She is a senior mass communications major. She is currently the events manager of Trax, and secretary of Sigma Alpha Pi among many other groups on campus. Brittany likes to cook, shop, do arts and crafts, sing and spend time with her family and friends . She has completed two internships, one with Radio One (Washington, DC) and one with BET for BETJ. She plans to pursue a career in entertainment law with a specialization in copyrights and contracts. She also wants to pursue being a party planner. Upon graduation, Brittany also would like to attend law school and get her master's in business.

Dr. James D. Sodt

Dr. James Sodt is the founder of both Sterling Communications and the Susquehanna University chapter of PRSSA. During his professional career he was the global account manager, market manager for higher education, strategist and videotext product developer for AT&T.
At the University of Kentucky he was faculty of the Dean’s seminar teaching in the areas of information systems, research and management. He also conducted research in the areas of information seeking behavior and decision theory.
At Susquehanna University he currently advises the student-run public relations firm, Sterling Communications. He teaches courses in corporate communications, management and interdisciplinary studies. He is conducting research in communication strategies and systems. He is the Faculty Salary Committee Chair as well as on the University Council.
In his personal life he resides in Sparta, NJ with his wife Margaret and their puppy. He is the proud grandfather of five grandchildren: Emily, Henry, Andrew, Julia and Madeleine. He enjoys reading, canoeing, golfing, grading papers and spending time with his grandkids.
