The Susquehanna Karate Club provides students, faculty and staff of all experience levels with the opportunity to study Karate. The club is taught by Jeffrey Mann, associate professor of religion, a third degree black belt who has been practicing martial arts since 1988. The club is an officially recognized school of the International Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate-do Federation.
“I love Karate club because I can train with my friends instead of trying to lift weights or running on treadmills by myself. We learn to trust peers while gaining the confidence and knowledge needed for self defense. I've seen myself become more confident throughout my experience in the club.”
