Black Student Union
The Black Student Union’s purpose is to enhance awareness of minority, culture, and heritage and issues in the Susquehanna University community. A supporter of diversity and cultural values, the Black Student Union works to recreate the bond between minorities at Susquehanna and serves as a support base for those that are in need of help in any way. This group is looking to make the minority experience at Susquehanna a worthwhile one. The group sponsors campus forums and presentations, takes on community service projects, and hosts events to raise money to donate to charities, efforts and other causes.

Student Perspective:
"I am so happy to be a part of this organization and help uplift fellow minority students and build a better bond between all students and faculty at Susquehanna. I hope that with the renewed outlook the executive board and I have created this year, we can move to the forefront of organizations on campus and contribute to a better future for Susquehanna. We welcome all student voices and opinions."
