Circle K promotes the involvement of university students in campus and community services through its affiliation with Kiwanis International. Circle K’s mission is to develop college and university students into responsible citizens and leaders with lifelong commitment to serving the children of the world. Members volunteer at places such as the Ronald McDonald House, Mostly Mutts, Ashburn's Animals on a Mission, Haven Ministries, and local elementary schools. They also help with Girls on the Run and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Even if students are unsure of whether or not they will be able to make a long-term commitment to the club, they can always join for meetings or certain service projects.
"Circle K is a great club that allows you to get away from campus and build a relationship with the surrounding community. I loved helping cook for the children at the Ronald McDonald house as well as cleaning up for Haven Ministries; it feels great to help serve the community and give to those less fortunate."
