Invisible Children

Invisible Children raises money to help children in Uganda by funding the rebuilding of schools and the delivery of general aid. Part of an international movement, the organization raises awareness and support on Susquehanna’s campus as well as in the local community. Invisible Children improves the quality of life for war-affected children by providing access to quality education, enhanced learning environments and innovative economic opportunities for the community.

Student Perspective:

“What I enjoy the most about being a member of Invisible Children is spreading the word of our cause through fundraising. When I tell someone about the civil war in Uganda and how badly the children are affected, people usually want to help.  It’s a great feeling to know that I've helped spread the word. Invisible Children is rewarding because you are able to watch the money you raise go directly to where it’s needed – for schools, food and aid in Uganda.”
