All incoming students take Perspectives in their first semester. This seminar-style course, limited to 15 students per section, focuses on both the academic and personal transition to college.
While each section of the course has a unique theme and content, all sections share some common goals, such as developing and practicing the intellectual skills required for college success, and acquiring an understanding of the distinctive nature and value of a Susquehanna liberal arts education. All sections also focus on the personal development of first year students as they forge new relationships and assume new responsibilities.
Depending on your major and your interests, you may take a specialized Perspectives class focused on Global Business, World Music, Leadership, Social Justice or various other topics.
