Essay Magazine is a nonfiction magazine designed to showcase the talents of Susquehanna's writing community, as well as providing the Writers Institute with a top-notch publication.

"I am part of Essay Magazine because it is one of the many hands-on opportunities that students have to get an idea of what it's like to be involved in a publication that features creative work. My strength as a writing major is in non-fiction and Essay, being a magazine that features this genre, is a good fit for me. I don't think I would be able to get the publication experience I am getting with Essay if I had not come to Susquehanna."
