The Italian Club at Susquehanna generally tries to promote Italian holidays and important dates in history, as well as interesting aspects of Italian culture. The club is looking to coordinate a World Cup soccer tournament in the fall, and sponsor Italian film nights at Charlie’s.
"I am part of the Italian club because world cultures interest me, and I think it is important that people know a little bit about every culture. It creates compassion, and understanding, and shows that although traditions vary, many cultures are more similar than people think. I like the camaraderie of Italian Club, and learning about the Italian culture."
