Shabbat

The First Fridays of Fall program allows the Jewish community to come together for an evening service and home-cooked meal the first Friday of every month in the fall.

Fall 2010 Dates:
Oct. 8 | Nov. 5 | Dec. 3

In the spring we come together on the last Friday of each month.

Spring 2011 Dates:
Jan. 28 | Feb. 25 | March 25 | April 29.



Hillel Meetings

Hillel meets every Sunday evening at 8 p.m. at the Hillel House. Hillel meetings are a great way to meet other students, hang out on the comfy couches at the Hillel House, and eat yummy food. More on Hillel »



Holidays

All Jewish holidays are observed on campus and in the Hillel House. The holidays of the 2010–11 academic year are as follows:

All events will take place in our sukkah on the Degenstein Lawn for the whole week of September 22 – September 29. Stop by, say hi, and shake the lulav!

Passover

A community Seder, designated as a major university event, is held on the first night of Passover in Evert Dining Hall in the Charles B. Degenstein Campus Center. A second night Seder is held in the Hillel House. The Seder will be held on Mon., April 18, 2011.
