Susquehanna University Campus Garden
The Susquehanna University Campus Garden is located at the Center for Enviromental Education and Research (CEER). Its mission is to provide nutritious, organic food for the good of the community while giving SU students service and experiential learning opportunities.
The garden is supported by an AmeriCorps*VISTA through the Johnnson Center for Civic Enagagement and will become a self sustaining program within the next two years.
We operate a market garden where we grow vegtables, herbs, and flowers. Food grown in the garden is distributed to feed families in need within our community.
The Susquehanna University Campus Garden promotes gardening and engages people of all ages to grow healthy food for themselves and others. There are plots avaliable to students, staff and faculty, as well as community members.
