Service-Learning Opportunities
Throughout the year there are several mission opportunities.
Susquehanna University Central America Service Adventure (SU CASA)
A two-credit service-learning course taught by University Chaplain Mark Wm. Radecke in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The experience provides opportunities to serve Ticos (Costa Ricans) and Nicas (Nicaraguans) and learn about “Images of Jesus” in Central America. Spanish is not required.
SU CASA Belize
A two-credit service-learning course in Belize, with a focus on providing free medical clinics in underserved areas. Belize is an English speaking country.
Habitat for Humanity Collegiate Challenge
Rise to this national "challenge" by working on the construction of a Habitat house in another (warmer!) state.
