Cultural and Diversity Organizations

Asian Student Coalition – promotes awareness, education, support and student interest in Asian and Asian-American culture in the Susquehanna community.

Black Student Union – works to create a better sense of diversity in the Susquehanna University community and empowers students to make the best out of their SU education and experience.

Diversity Council – provides guidance to multicultural student organizations and events of Susquehanna University.

Gender and Sexuality Alliance – conducts educational programs to help create awareness for sexual diversity and combat preconceptions concerning homosexuality.

Hillel Student Organization – provides educational, cultural and social involvement opportunities for Jewish students to explore and celebrate their Jewish identity.

Hispanic Organization for Latino Awareness (HOLA) – encourages an understanding of and appreciation for Hispanic culture in the Susquehanna University community.

SU International (SUI) – encourages students to share cultural experiences that promote understanding of different countries and their customs.

Variance– serves as a focused outlet of expression to enhance the Susquehanna community’s understanding of diversity.

WomenSpeak – sponsors speakers and events relating to women’s issues and provides a safe, egalitarian environment for student concerns.
