Employer Information
Our alumni know firsthand the value of a solid liberal arts education with personal attention from professors, and they’re often the first to recruit Susquehanna students.
To find the right person for your organization, talk to our recruiting coordinator, Jodie Stauffer, stauffer@susqu.edu or 570-372-4146, about visiting campus, interviewing, or simply collecting resumes.
Employer and Recruiting Services
Online Recruiting
Employers may advertise full-time and internship opportunities through Susquehanna's online posting system. Please complete the Employment and Internship Online Form to announce positions to Susquehanna students.
Employment and Internship Fairs
We invite you to participate in our 2009 Employment and Internship Fair to recruit students for internship and employment opportunities. The fair will be held on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, on campus in the Garrett Sports Complex from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Register here.
On Campus Interviews
The Center for Career Services provides an on campus process for employers to recruit SU students. We make every effort to ensure that the process for employers is convenient and effective.
To schedule an on-campus interview date please contact our office to provide us with your contact information and preferred visit dates. Our recruiting coordinator will work with you to confirm your interview schedule.
Résumé Collections
To meet the needs of employers who may not be able to visit campus to recruit, employers may set up résumé collections allowing students to submit résumés for consideration.
If you are interested in scheduling a résumé collection simply contact our office and provide us with your contact information and résumé submission deadline. Please provide a position description, qualifications and any additional information that would be helpful to applicants.
Résumé Referrals
If you wish to review candidate résumés, the Center for Career Services will provide you with résumés that meet your requirements. Referrals are an opportunity for employers to get a general idea of the talent available.
Information Sessions and Booths
Employers may conduct information sessions highlighting their organization to potential employees. For a less formal gathering, recruit near the entrance of the university bookstore during prime hours of operation.
Employer Mock Interviews
Work with SU students to help prepare them for the job search by conducting mock interviews. The Center for Career Services is always interested in having employers perform mock interviews which often leads to interest in your organization.
Recruit Alumni
Employers are also invited to consider SU alumni for positions requiring more experience. Contact the alumni relations office at alumni@susqu.edu or (570) 372-4115 for more information.
