Counseling Center

Introduction to Services

The Counseling Center offers individual and group counseling, psychiatric services on a limited basis, alcohol and drug assessment and referral, medical withdrawal and course load reduction and referral to private practitioners for long term counseling. All counseling is free of charge to Susquehanna University students and is kept strictly confidential. The Center also provides many educational programs regarding the mental health of students.

Hours

Monday -Thursday—8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Fri—8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m.

Crisis Services

Counseling Center staff is available in an emergency by calling 570-372-4751 or visiting the Counseling Center and requesting a same-day appointment.

During evenings and weekends, an on-call counselor can be reached by calling 570-374-9164 and asking to speak to the on-call counselor.
