Course approvals for students studying off-campus.
Students studying off campus must complete an Approval for Off-Campus Study Program form. Students must seek approval from the appropriate SU department head for any course intended to fulfill major, minor, or core curriculum requirements. They should provide a course description and/or syllabus as needed. Courses taken abroad that are not 4 credit courses may still fulfill such requirements, but they will transfer as the number of credits assigned by the host institution. Students must still have the minimum number of credits required for majors, minors, and general graduation.

Students are NOT required to seek Deparment Head approval for courses taken as electives.
