Study Away & Service Learning
Susquehanna University students see the world and make a difference. Scores of study-away programs and a number of service-learning opportunities take students to sites both home and abroad, for short-term trips as well as semester-length studies.
All students at Susquehanna are required to participate in a unique cross-cultural program that will expose them to different cultures. The program, called GO (Global Opportunities), allows students to fulfill the requirement by participating in a traditional semester-away program, or by experiencing a shorter learning situation that puts them in an unfamiliar cultural context.

The application window for 2012-2013 Winter Break GO Short Programs is open! Students can apply for:
- SU CASA (Dec. 29, 2012 - Jan. 12, 2013; Cost: $3495)
- HRT (Tentative Dates: Dec. 26, 2012 - Jan. 10, 2013, Cost: To Be Determined)
- GO Chile (please note that GO Chile is open only to the SU baseball team).
