After earning a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and a Ph.D. from University of North Texas , Drew Noble Lanier has been Assistant Professor of Political Science at University of Central Florida since 1997. He is the author or co-author of several articles and book chapters. His work has appeared in such journals as the American Journal of Political Science, Social Science Quarterly, Judicature, The American Review of Politics, Social Science History, Fordham Urban Law Journal, and Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. He is co-creator of a dataset exploring the decisional processes of the United States Supreme Court from 1888 to 1940. He is currently at work extending these data back to the Court’s initial term.
