of The Troubling Play of Gender
Maria Stadter Fox graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989 with a B.A. in Russian and French. She was a 1989 Mellon Fellow and earned both her M.A. and her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. She teaches drama and comparative literature at Georgia Southern University. Current and future projects include a study of H.D.'s translation and interpretation of Euripides' Ion; the translation of Tsvetaeva's plays from Russian into English; and work on the drama of Djuna Barnes, especially The Antiphon.
