Fairy Lore in Early Modern British Drama and Culture
Regina Buccola is Assistant Professor of English at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a BA in English and Journalism from Bellarmine University in her hometown, Louisville, Kentucky; and a PhD in English literature from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr Buccola has published articles on early modern British drama and culture in Sixteenth-Century Journal, Early Theatre Journal, Shakespeare and the Culture of Christianity in Early Modern England, and Gender and Oral Traditions in Early Modern Literary Texts. She has also published theoretical work in gender studies in Children’s Literature Association Quarterly and Tortilleras: Hispanic and Latina Lesbian Expression. In addition, she also writes, directs, and performs in original performance work.
