About the Author of

Jesse S. Cohn, who currently teaches English at Purdue University, North Central, has been, at various times, a freelance journalist, a retail worker, a Green activist, a prep cook in a food cooperative, and a write of fiction and poetry. His interests range from cultural theory and avant-garde poetics to "popular" genres such as science fiction, film, and comics. His work has been published in Utopian Studies, Postmodern Culture, Anarchist Studies, and Culture Machine. He lives in Valparaiso, Indiana with his wife Darlene, and their daughter Rosa.
