Lauretta Conklin Frederking received her BA from the University of Toronto, her MA from Columbia University and her PhD from Washington University in St. Louis. Currently, she is Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Portland. Her research interests include comparative immigration, comparative cultural policy, and the study of terrorism and migration. Frederking’s research has been published in the Journal of Economic Behavior, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development and in several edited volumes.
