Summer Session offers Susquehanna students as well as students from other universities the opportunity to take classes over the summer. Students may choose to take part in the seven-week Summer Session or the four-week Intensive Summer Term, or both.

Intensive Summer Term
May 14 to June 9, 2012
Susquehanna University’s Intensive Summer Term is an exciting four-week period of intensive study in chosen academic areas. The term gives students the opportunity to gain credits in a timeframe which allows them to get back to work or summer vacation.
Key Dates:
May 16: last day to drop or add
May 17-25: withdrawal period
After May 25: no withdrawal; grade will stand

The Summer Session
June 11 to July 28, 2012
The Summer Session at Susquehanna University offers students a challenging but relaxed learning environment. This seven-week session is an opportunity to gain necessary credits or ease the pressure of getting started at a college or university.
Key Dates:
June 15: last day to drop or add
June 16-29: withdrawal period
After June 30: no withdrawal; grade will stand

Who attends the Summer Session?
- Current Susquehanna University students
- College students in good academic standing at academic institutions other than Susquehanna University
- Well-qualified high school juniors and seniors, with written recommendation from a guidance counselor
- Residents of the Susquehanna Valley
