Class Notes Please send your alumni news and class updates Office of Alumni Relations 1980 Class Reporter: Alayne Hunter '80 Fessler was recently appointed program director of the medical laboratory technician program at Reading Area Community College in Reading, Pa. She and her husband, Bob '80 , live in Reading with their three sons, Dan '08 , Matt and Neal. Doug Kniss '80 is the senior associate vice president for research at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Brenda Parks '80 Krill is a receptionist at East West Veterinary Care Center in Cape Coral, Fla. She lives in Ft. Myers.
Linda Post '81 Bushkofsky was reappointed by the executive board of Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) to serve another four-year term as executive director. Gary Kraemer '81 was named the chief financial officer of sentitO Networks, a leading provider of carrier-grade, distributed voice-over-IP switching and service delivery solutions for global telecommunications service providers. Brian Pfeiffer '81 was inducted into the Weatherly, Pa., High School Sports Hall of Fame in January 2006. He is a warehouse supervisor at Penske Logistics. He lives in Zion Grove, Pa., with his wife, Diana, and their two children. 1982 Class Reporter: Rick Alcantara '82 created a Web site for the city of Woodbury, N.J., which received a Pepperpot Award from the Public Relations Society of America and a public affairs award for the top municipal Web site in New Jersey from the New Jersey State League of Municipalities. MaryLou Schilling '82 Clemente is the learning-support teacher at Wyoming Seminary at its Upper School campus in Kingston, Pa. Scott Heller '82 spoke to Michelle DeMary's law and society class about current legal issues; to the pre-law society about law school and practice, and to the men's and women's track teams about applying lessons from athletic fields to life after college. George Henry '82 is an assistant women's basketball coach at Lycoming College. Since 1982, Henry has been a vocal music teacher in the Muncy School District and involved in the girls' basketball programs. In 2004, he was named the “Educator of the Year” in the Muncy School District by the Williamsport/ Lycoming Chamber of Commerce. Henry lives in Muncy with his wife, Cathleen. Jamie Mitchell '82 accepted a new position as director of graduate, transfer and continuing studies admission at Rider University. She lives in West Long Branch, N.J., with her two daughters. Pamela Werner '82 is the spiritual care coordinator for Heartland Hospice in Somers Point, N.J. 1983 Class Reporter: Kathy Bradley '83 joined Gettysburg College as associate dean of college life and director of the health and counseling center. Sue Frekot '83 Doty married Charles J. Murphy, July 3, 2004. In the wedding party were their children Caroline Marie Doty, Kevin Niels Doty, Michael Bergen Doty, Charles Thomas Murphy and Paul William Murphy. Sue works for ICON Clinical Research as a senior validation engineer. Charles is a director of global regulatory submissions management at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. They live in Doylestown, Pa. William Haelig '83 was named president of the Robertson/Englert Insurance Agency in Northampton, Pa. Outside of work, he is involved in Babe Ruth League 12-year-old division baseball. For the second straight summer in 2005, Bill was an official scorer for the Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen, Md. Nancy McGuire '83 Stevens was elected mayor of Marlborough, Mass. She is the first woman ever elected as mayor of her town. She and her husband, Dan, have two teenage children. 1984 Class Reporter: Daniel Clark '84 is a principal at Rave Medium in Alpharetta, Ga. He and his wife, Susan, live in Alpharetta. 1985 Class Reporter: Deborah Darrah '85 Cho is an account executive at Flagstar Bank. She lives in Rockville, Md. Jeffrey Dentler '85 was awarded the certified trust and financial advisor (CTFA) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB), a non-profit organization sponsored by the American Bankers Association in Washington, D.C. Jeff is a group vice president with SunTrust Bank, and heads the Wealth Management Advisory Center in Richmond, Va. He lives in Richmond with his wife, Carol, and daughters Emily and Abigail. Kelly Ramsdell '85 Fineman had a poem titled “A Hanukkah Game” accepted for publication by Highlights for Children magazine. She also had another poem titled “Lawnmowers” accepted for inclusion in an anthology titled Summer Shorts , to be published by Blooming Tree Press in May 2006. She lives in Cherry Hill, N.J., with her husband, Mike, and her children, Sara and Maggie. Stuart Juppenlatz '85 was promoted to vice president and corporate services officer at Fulton Financial Advisors. He lives in Lebanon, Pa.

Born to Torr '86 and Lisa Schmey , a daughter, Tori Ann, Jan. 21, 2005. She joins big sister Taylor Paige. They live in Montclair, N.J. 1987

Born to Michael and Elizabeth Molloy '87 Henne, a son, Charles Michael, Nov. 23, 2004. They live in Chatham, N.J. Jonathan Lindquist '87 married Jeannett Maluf, Oct. 8, 2005, at The Riverview, Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y. Jonathan is a research/data base manager for Gannett's USA Weekend magazine of New York City. Paula Long '87 Schick is a teacher and secondary mathematics chairperson at the Line Mountain School District in Herndon, Pa. She and her husband, Donald, and their daughter, Janna, live in Middleburg, Pa. Hans Schoenfeld '87 was appointed as a licensed long term care insurance representative with Genworth Financial. He has found that his music education background at Susquehanna, along with his training and experience in the ministry, have prepared him well for this new venture. His wife, Julie, is an ordained Lutheran pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Attleboro, Mass. Hans and Julie reside in Attleboro with their sons Jonathan and Nathan. 1988

Born to Michael '88 and Kellie Pizzico, a daughter, Aug. 24, 2005. They live in Baltimore, Md., while their home in Perdido Key, Fla., is rebuilt after being damaged by Hurricane Ivan in September 2005. Born to Scott '88 and Kimberly Torok , a daughter, Emma Joyce, Feb. 16, 2005. Scott works in Philadelphia for Spinal Concepts, Inc., of Reading, Pa. They live in Southampton, Pa. 1989
