Nancy LeCrone '29 Fay, Hollidaysburg, Pa., Feb. 4, 2002. She was an English teacher at Williamsburg High School where she directed the senior class plays and coached public speaking.
Isolbel Slotterback '29 Kulick, State College, Pa., Feb. 27, 2002. She was an English teacher for 30 years, a Girl Scout troop leader, a tutor for an adult literacy program and a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels program. In election years, she worked at the Natalie polling place. She was also elected president and secretary of the American Association of University Women.
Margaret E. Fink '32, Conyngham, Pa., Feb. 15, 2002. Prior to retiring in 1979, she was the Conyngham Borough postmaster. She was also a postal clerk for 18 years.
Enza Wilson '32 Smith, Lewistown, Pa., Jan 18, 2002. She was a secretary for Judge Lehman and she taught business education briefly at Yeagertown and Lewistown High Schools and then for Chief Logan High School for 30 years before retiring in 1975.
Jacob B. Yaros '36, Middletown, Pa., Jan. 2, 2002. He was a retired employee of the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Lower Swatara Township, and a retired comptroller for the Republican State Committee, Harrisburg. He was a pitcher in the semi-pro baseball league for the former Sunbury Senators.
Robert G. Schuck '40, Sun City, Fla., Nov. 29, 2001. He served in World War II, serving as a captian in the Air Force from 1940 to 1945. He was a bombardier, navigator and pilot. Before retiring, he was a branch manager at Black & Decker.

Jeanne M. Orner '50, Bendersville, Pa., Feb. 11, 2002. She had been a teacher in the Coatesville Area School District for 27 years before retiring in 1984.

Edward A. Flowers Jr. '75, Mount Carmel, Pa., Feb. 14, 2002. He was the former owner of Flowers Restaurant, Mount Carmel.
J. Russell Atwater '76, San Diego, Calif., Feb. 24, 2002.
Brian D. Forgione '00, Dunmore, Pa., April 8, 2002, of cancer. A graduate and standout baseball player at Dunmore High School, he received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Susquehanna. During his college career, he was a member of the varsity baseball team, earning three letters, and played varsity football for one year. He was also very active in intramural sports, as a member of the volleyball team for three years and basketball and football teams for two years. He volunteered in the America Reads! volunteer Project House his sophomore, junior and senior years and was a member of Theta Chi fraternity. Brian also was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association and the National Education Association.
Randall J. "Randy" Zook '00, Lewistown, Pa., March 20, 2002. A graduate of Indian Valley High School in Lewistown, Randy earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in sociology from Susquehanna. At Susquehanna, Randy was a three-year starter on the football team and earned All-Conference, All-Region and All-America honors during his career. He was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year following the 2000 season, and served as a team captain during his senior season. Following graduation he had been a caseworker for Mifflin County Children and Youth and an Indian Valley junior high football coach.
Winifred Heim Shaheen, Selinsgrove, Pa., Feb. 10, 2002. A graduate of Lock Haven State University, she was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau national sorority and she taught in one-room country schools in Lycoming County. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Raymond E. Shaheen '37, with whom she celebrated a 61st wedding anniversary in May 2001. Together they served the congregations of Messiah Lutheran Church in South Williamsport, Pa., and later, St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Silver Spring, Md. In 1986, they moved to Selinsgrove when Raymond became interim chaplain and later, special assistant to the president at Susquehanna University. In recent years, she enjoyed spending time with the many Susquehanna students and other friends in the university community to whom she and Raymond opened their home and their hearts.
