Bring Back Baby Pictures
I was reading my Spring 2003 issue of Susquehanna Today and I was disappointed when I read that you are no longer putting baby pictures in the future issues of Susquehanna Today. I read that you will put the baby pictures on your online version of SU Today. Everybody is taking everything out of print and putting them on the computer. You and other companies seem to forget that everybody does not have a computer and one cannot go to the library every time an issue comes up. I really enjoy seeing the babies since I am a baby lover. I wonder what possessed you to make this decision. I hope a lot of protest letters will come in so that you can rethink your decision. Can't the babies appear both on line and in print?
Sincerely,
Tammara K. Williams '97
From the Editor:
Susquehanna Today and the university community offer sincere congratulations to alumni who become parents, but because space is limited in our printed publication we feel a necessity to devote available space to Susquehanna graduates themselves. We encourage alumni to continue submitting baby photos to appear in our online edition of class notes at www.susqu.edu/today.
Respect for Diversity
I applaud Susquehanna University for its support of organizations such as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender. This shows wisdom and that you are keeping up with changing times. I am glad to be associated with an institution that stands firm on important issues.
