Elizabeth Fisher ’28, May 1, 2004 Souderton, Pa. She taught European history, art, physical education and English. She is survived by her cousin, Diane Herbert ’86 Wall.

Lewis R. Fox ’32, April 14, 2004, Shippenville, Pa. He retired in 1976 after 30 years as pastor of a three-church parish, Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Aligo, St. Paul Lutheran Church on Twin Church Road in Knox, and the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Knox. He did mission work in Puerto Rico and served as pastor at the Mount Calvary Church in Erie before moving to Knox in 1946. He celebrated his 90th birthday in 2000 and the 65th anniversary of his ordination into the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America at a reception hosted by St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Anna Dunkelberger ’32 Wilks, Jan. 17, 2004, Tonawanda, N.Y.

Eveyn Janson ’37 Picton, April 7, 2004, Cummings, Ga. She taught high school English for 25 years at Shikellamy School District in Sunbury, Pa.

June Snyder ’42 Lucas, May 22, 2004, State College, Pa. She was an analyst for Penn State.

Raymond Schramm ’44, Manahawkin, N.J. He worked for Curtiss-Wright, Caldwell and Thomas Edison, West Orange, before becoming founder and president of Schramm Industries Inc., Ship Bottom. He is survived by his wife, Jean Wheat ’46 Schramm.

Helen Hocker ’44 Schueler, Ambler, Pa. She had been a music education teacher in the Muncy and Hatboro/Horsham school systems. She served as organist for Zion Lutheran Church for six years and as substitute organist in multiple churches in the Pittsburgh, Pa., area for five years. In 1980, she completed her organ work after having served for 19 years at United Church of Christ, Fort Washington, Pa. She is survived by her husband, C. Glenn Schueler ’46.

Harry L. Smith ’51, Herndon, Pa. He is survived by his wife, Corrine Klinger ’44 Smith.

G. Allan Vollmers ’52, March 28, 2004, Villa Rica, Ga.

Clara M. Williams ’53 Anderson, June 3, 2004, Cornwall, Pa. She was a retired teacher who taught in Wilmington and Newark, Del.

Richard Frederick Horn ’61, June 5, 2004, DeForest, Wisc. He was a well-known church musician and composer. At the age of 12, he was appointed assistant organist at his uncle’s church in Philadelphia, and began a 54-year career of church service in Pennsylvania, California and Wisconsin. For the last 16 years, he had been music director at St. Patrick’s Church in downtown Madison and had served as a member of the Association of Church Musicians in Madison. His choral and organ compositions are published by MorningStar Music, and have been performed throughout the world.

Lynne Stansfield ’74, April 3, 2004, Winter Park, Fla. She was a counselor and abuse prevention specialist in the department of counseling services at Rider University and Westminster Choir College, having maintained an office at each campus.

Russell S. Carogana ’80, Nov. 3, 2004, Hackensack, N.J. He was an accountant with H&R Block in Passaic, N.J.

Ruth Smith, H’82, June 1, 2004, Ambler, Pa. She was the widow of former Susquehanna University president G. Morris Smith, who led the university from 1928-1959. She was awarded an honorary degree from Susquehanna in 1982.
