Robert ’66 and Catherine Richards ’66 Duerr celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on April 10, 2005. Bob retired in May 2003 after 30 years in Cheltenham School District, where he taught physics. Cathy continues to teach private flute lessons and is finishing her 29th season as principal flutist with the Delaware County Symphony. Cathy and Bob have three sons and five grandchildren.

Donna Ake ’67 Burkholder was named a Citation of Excellence winner by the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, District 7, which represents Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, Cumberland, Dauphin, Adams, Franklin and York counties.

William Surplus ’67 is senior vice president at U.S. Bancorp in Gresham, Ore. He and his wife, Susan, live in Portland, Ore.

James W. Page ’69 retired after 36 years as a high school history teacher. He was a high school head football coach for 22 years before coaching at Gettysburg College for seven years. He will continue to serve as the assistant head football coach at Lower Dauphin High School in Hummelstown, Pa. Jim and his wife, Terry, live in New Cumberland, Pa., and are the proud grandparents of Lilly, James, and Jackson.
