Graphics
Graphics are often used to enhance the appearance of a web page. They add color and excitement. In fact, the only bad thing about them is that they increase the load time of the page. That is why they need to be designed and used effectively. Use the minimum amount of graphics on your page that will produce the kind of page you want. If you want lean and mean, use only a couple of graphics. Note that there are also many things you can do with HTML that "look graphical." If you want a slow loading, picture laden, and busy page, use lots of graphics.
