Page Templates

Web redesign has become easier! Susquehanna's Web page templates are now available to be used for your department or program. The templates are pre-approved for compliance with both the Web Publishing Policy and the Page Guidelines. Once you have the template, you can modify various elements to your liking. Just be sure it still complies with the guidelines (where applicable) and policies when you're done.

How do I get the template? The Web Central Staff has created a wizard to customize the University template to your department or program's needs. The wizard will need to gather some information before generating your template. These are some of the things you will need to have ready when running the wizard:

• Items that you would like to appear in your navigation cluster.
• The name and e-mail address of the individual responsible for compliance with policies (if different from you).
• Your Web Application Login information to verify that you maintain the department or program Web pages.

To run the wizard, just select your type of department or program below and click "Start." The wizard will then gather the information that it needs to customize your template.

If you will be using Dreamweaver, our recommended Web page editor, to maintain your Web pages, please contact the Webmaster for assistance in obtaining a Dreamweaver compatible template.

* If you can't find your department or program listed under one of the template types, try another. For example, the schools are listed under Administrative Departments since their pages are more like an administrative department than an academic department. If you still can't find your department, contact the Webmaster for assistance.
