Counter Description
The Susquehanna University Web Page Counter is a program that keeps track of the number of times a web page is visited. This is done through a small GIF-image that is inserted into the web page.
It allows an unlimited number of separate counters and different digit styles of any size. It also includes advanced anti-terrorist protection features to prevent the illegal use of a counter on another web page.
The counter is designed to support ISAPI conventions introduced by Microsoft that will give about 10...50 times faster response time when compared to standard CGI programs.
Counter Parameters
The web page counter features several optional parameters to make the counter more personalized. The most important of the optional parameters is probably the style parameter. Below you will find the list of available parameters. All of the parameter names and argument values are case insensitive. When more than one paramenter is used, each parameter is separated by an ampersand (&).
