Web Site Management
The university webmaster handles the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and design work of the University Web site. A team of students assists the university webmaster to design and develop specific pages within the site.
Development and maintenance of many parts of the university Web site is decentralized. Academic and administrative departments and programs as well as student organizations are responsible for developing and maintaining their own Web pages within the university Web site.
The university has established a Web Steering Committee to assist in managing the university's Web site. The purpose of the committee is to set and implement policy, identify new web projects, set goals, and to continually evaluate the quality of the university Web site. Subcommittees are occasionally formed to perform specific tasks.
The Web Steering Committee consists of the following campus community members:
- Ken Brakke, Professor, Mathematical Sciences
- Mark Fertig, Assistant Professor of Art
- Robert Gessner, Systems Librarian
- Jerry Habegger, Tressler Professor in Accounting
- Mark Huber, Director, Information Technology
