- The Vagina Monologues
In Observance of "V-Day", members of the Susquehanna University community organized by Womenspeak members presented The Vagina Monologues sometime in February or March.
- Take Back the Night
This annual rally held each April unites the campus and community against domestic and sexual violence. The evening includes speakers, testimonials by survivors, musical performers, and a candlelight vigil.
- Round Table Discussion: Can You Have it All?
This forum gives students a chance to hear the perspective of several members of the campus community on the life choices they have made and how they balance things like marriage, career, and children. The forum is normally facilitated by a faculty member of the Women's Studies with panelists coming from the Susquehanna University faculty, staff, and administration.
- Self-Defense Workshop
On September 20, 2004 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM in meeting rooms 1-5, the Women's Studies Department sponsored a self-defense workshop for female students and faculty. The workshop consisted of an introduction to easily-acquired skills that defend against physical assault. The workshop was conducted by Laura Kamienski, founder and creator of Empower! Self Defense for Women, and owner and head instructor of Kicks Martial Arts for Women in Lewisburg, PA.
