Students in the Sigmund Weis School of Business can take advantage of the school’s international partners to complete remote international internships this summer.

“At a time when many internship and job opportunities are being rescinded, and study-abroad trips are being cancelled,” Matthew Rousu, dean of the Sigmund Weis School of Business said, “we created a way for our students to complete meaningful international work experiences and develop skills that will give them a competitive edge.”

The business school has long had students interning around the world and recently became the only business school in the world to guarantee international internships to its students. These new opportunities continue that tradition even as in-person international opportunities remain uncertain in the midst of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Sophomore and junior students can apply to the following summer internship options:

  • Group-based consulting internships available in Shanghai, Vietnam, Sydney or Singapore.
  • Individual internships based on major/field of interest available in Barcelona and London.

“These remote internships solidify the international exposure the business school is committed to providing its students, and at a time when global experiences are increasingly important,” Rousu said.
