Former Gov. Rendell to Speak April 11

Former Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell will speak at Susquehanna University at 7:30 p.m. April 11 in Stretansky Concert Hall of the Cunningham Center for Music and Art. The purpose of this event is to further civil and intellectual discourse on campus, in keeping with the university theme for the year—conflict.

DOJ Grant Funds Additional Anti-Violence Programming

A nearly $300,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) will enable Susquehanna to enhance already existing training and programming out of the university’s Title IX office to address incidences involving sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking.

New Thread Quartet to Perform Feb. 5

The New Thread Quartet will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, in Stretansky Concert Hall in the Cunningham Center for Music and Art on the campus of Susquehanna University.

Exhibition of Art by Women Opens Jan. 27

The art exhibition Prints by Women: Selected European and American Works from the Georgia Museum of Art will open with a reception in our Lore Degenstein Galley from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27.

Christmas at Susquehanna Airing Nationwide

WVIA Public Media along with Susquehanna University is airing Christmas at Susquehanna: The 50th Anniversary Candlelight Service. The program will also air on more than 100 public television stations nationwide throughout December.
