The 26th Annual Susquehanna University Honors Band Festival will culminate in a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18 in Weber Chapel Auditorium.

The event is free and open to the public.

This concert is the culmination of a three-day festival for talented woodwind, brass and percussion students from high schools across the eastern part of the United States.

Eric Hinton, associate professor of music and director of bands at Susquehanna, will be joined by Susquehanna alumnus Nicholas Roseth '08 as guest conductor. Roseth earned his master's degree in music education from the University of Colorado Boulder and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in music education at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.

The concert features two honors ensembles, the Honors Wind Ensemble and the Honors Band, as well as the Honors Festival Band, which brings both groups together.

The Honors Band Festival is sponsored by Susquehanna's Department of Music.
