Former Gov. Rendell to Speak April 11
Susquehanna University

March 28, 2018

Former Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell will speak at Susquehanna University at 7:30 p.m. April 11 in Stretansky Concert Hall of the Cunningham Center for Music and Art.

The purpose of this event is to further civil and intellectual discourse on campus, in keeping with the university theme for the year—conflict. Each year, the university theme presents opportunities for university-wide dialogue around a central idea or question.

A lawyer, politician and author, Rendell will present A Progressive View of America. This event and the lecture by conservative commentator Ben Shapiro held March 20 are two politically themed events organized jointly by the SU College Democrats and SU College Republicans. The student groups are working together to provide a wide range of views that will further a civil exchange of ideas on campus.

Tickets can be picked up in Degenstein Campus Center until 5 p.m. the day of the event. Individuals must personally pick up their tickets at the switchboard office, next to the campus center box office. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8:30-noon and 1-5 p.m. One ticket will be available per person. Identification must be presented upon pick-up.

Tickets may also be available at the door.
