"An in-depth understanding of economic systems, which affect every single person and every single business worldwide, is an invaluable investment," says the Shippensburg, Pa., native.
The diverse economics curriculum has opened the door to numerous career opportunities and given Witter skills that will benefit him in any career path that he chooses.
"Economics teaches and employs strategic, critical thinking that can be used in every aspect of life, in both professional and personal capacities," Witter says.
"Whether choosing a life insurance policy, applying to law school, analyzing how to invest savings or choosing between jobs, a comprehensive economics background will improve my decision-making," he says.
Witter was drawn to Susquehanna because of the possibility of one-on-one relationships with professors-and he has definitely found that here.
