Susquehanna University has been named a 2016 Military Friendly School by Victory Media for attracting and supporting student veterans and their spouses in the classroom and after graduation.
"This listing demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the academic and transitional needs of our veterans and their families," said Madeleine Rhyneer, Susquehanna's vice president for enrollment and marketing. "We are honored to know we are among the top institutions supporting those who have served our country."
Now in its seventh year, the list of Military Friendly Schools was compiled through a data-driven survey of schools nationwide approved for Veterans Administration funding. Institutions compete for the title across 10 categories, including military support on campus, graduation and employment outcomes, and military spouse policies.
The Military Friendly Schools designation is awarded to the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace military students. Information on veteran's benefits at Susquehanna University is available here.
