I come from a small farm in South Dakota. I completed my undergraduate degree from Northwestern College, in Orange City, Iowa, and graduated with my masters from Western Theological Seminary. I worked for the University of Jamestown, North Dakota, as Chaplain and worked closely with their student life programs. While at the University of Jamestown, I worked alongside their Character in Leadership program, led students on a Habitat for Humanity Spring break trip, managed a number of religious life groups, taught in the Religious/Philosophy department and led a semester long class on Kenyan culture, culminating in a three-week immersion experience to Chogoria, Kenya. At Susquehanna University, I am working with Leadershape, Outdoor Rec, first-year Learning Living communities, and other leadership and engagement ventures.
