I often joke that since I didn’t go away to college as a student, I’ve been going away to college as an employee. Although I consider the Pacific Northwest home, I have also lived in Florida, Washington, California and Illinois. But because I was so impressed by the students, staff and faculty at Susquehanna, my family and I decided in 2015 to travel 3,000 miles to make Selinsgrove, PA and Susquehanna University our new home!
Susquehanna is a place that challenges everyone on campus to be well-educated and engaged citizens through its academic coursework, co-curricular activities, GO (Global Opportunities) program and much more. My college experience transformed me and I can see the same thing happening to students at Susquehanna.
Over the years I have lived mostly in cities, but I have easily adjusted to the smaller size of Selinsgrove. It’s close to major metro areas, has wonderful neighborhoods and I can still get to a Costco for my favorite items. I am an avid Seattle Seahawks fan, which is fun to flaunt around all the Steelers fans. My two young children keep me busy with art projects, running to the playground and more diapers than I can count!
Susquehanna University has been a great place for me. Come see why it can be just as great for you!
