Newly Formed SU Bridge Quartet to Perform Feb. 1

The SU Bridge Quartet will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1 in Stretansky Concert Hall in the Cunningham Center for Music and Art on the campus of Susquehanna University.

This event is free and open to the public.

The newly formed SU Bridge Quartet is a string quartet composed of music faculty and alumni. They will perform works by Mendelssohn, Samuel Adler and William Grant Still. 

Joining the quartet will be tenor David Steinau, associate professor of music and chair of the Department of Music at Susquehanna, and pianist Jaime Namminga, lecturer of music at Susquehanna.

The SU Bridge Quartet comprises violinist Johanna Hartman Levi of the York Symphony; violinist Jennifer Sacher Wiley, associate professor of violin at Susquehanna; cellist Andrew Rammon, adjunct professor of cello at Susquehanna; and Ofir Tomer, artistic director at Harber Front Music, Stony Brook, N.Y., on viola.
